सुश्री शोभा करंदलाजे ने नाविबो, प्रबीउ फार्म, अभयपुरी के नए कार्यालय भवन का लोकार्पण किया

भारत सरकार की माननीय कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण राज्य मंत्री सुश्री शोभा करंदलाजे ने वर्चुअल तरीके से प्रबीउ फार्म, अभयपुरी, असम में नारियल विकास बोर्ड (नाविबो) के नए कार्यालय भवन का लोकार्पणकिया। समारोह के दौरान मंत्री ने भारत के उत्तर पूर्वी राज्यों में समर्पित प्रयासों के लिए नारियल विकास बोर्ड की सराहना की। उन्होंने उत्तर भारत के लोगों को खाद्य और गैर-खाद्य दोनों उद्देश्यों के लिए नारियल तेल का उपयोग करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया और इसके कई लाभों पर जोर दिया।

प्रबीउ फार्मों के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए मंत्री ने नारियल की खेती में उन्नत वैज्ञानिक प्रणालियों का प्रदर्शन करते हुए ज्ञान प्रसार केंद्र के रूप में उनकी भूमिका को रेखांकित किया। नवीन प्रौद्योगिकियों और रणनीतिक योजना के अभिग्रहण के ज़रिए ये फार्म किसानों को सुस्थिर सामाजिक-आर्थिक प्रगति के लिए आवश्यक उपायों के साथ सशक्त बनाते हैं। नाविबो के मुख्य नारियल विकास अधिकारी डा. हनुमंते गौड़ा ने उपस्थित लोगों का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया, जबकि नाविबो के निदेशक डा. रजत कुमार पाल ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया। असम के अभयपुरी में वर्ष 1986-87 में स्थापित प्रबीउ फार्म 40 हेक्टर में फैला हुआ है और यहाँ  3,927 ताड़ है, जिनमें से 3,388 फलदायी या फूलदार ताड़ हैं। नवनिर्मित कार्यालय भवन 'डिजिटल इंडिया' के सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप आधुनिक सुविधाओं से सुसज्जित है। विशेष रूप से इस सुविधा में असम और पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र के किसानों के प्रशिक्षण के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया एक प्रशिक्षण कक्ष भी शामिल है।

Sushri.Shobha Karandlaje, Honorable Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, virtually inaugurated the new office building of the Coconut Development Board (CDB) at DSP Farm, Abhayapuri, Assam. During the ceremony, the Minister commended the Coconut Development Board for its dedicated efforts in the North Eastern states of India. She encouraged the people of North India to utilize coconut oil for both edible and non-edible purposes, emphasizing its numerous benefits.

Highlighting the significance of DSP farms, the Minister underscored their role as centers for knowledge dissemination, showcasing advanced scientific practices in coconut cultivation. Through the adoption of innovative technologies and strategic planning, these farms empower farmers with the necessary tools for sustainable socio-economic progress. Dr.Hanumanathe Gowda, Chief Coconut Development Officer, CDB  extended a warm welcome to the attendees, while Dr.Rajat Kumar Pal, Director of CDB, proposed  vote of thanks. Established in 1986-87, the DSP Farm in Abhayapuri, Assam, spans over 40 hectares and is home to 3,927 palms, out of which 3,388 are bearing or flowering palms. The newly constructed office building is equipped with modern amenities in line with the principles of 'Digital India'. Notably, the facility includes a training room designed to conduct  training of farmers from Assam and the Northeast region.
